7mm TCU back in it's Glory
« on: September 22, 2003, 06:46:15 AM »
I finally did it last night.  I took the scope off my 10" 7 TCU.  It is a tack-driver with a scope on it..but I have regretted scoping it since 'DAY ONE'. This little barrel is such a pleasure to carry in the woods, and certainly accurate enough for anything at 100+- yds.  I have black Pachmyr grips and a sling, and with this set up and rifle sights to keep the weight and bulk down, this has got to be the most perfect setup in the universe.  Even rugged steep terrain is easy with this little package and both hands free.
....make it count
