Blooded my Mini Bolt

On the way to scouting out a promising deer hunting spot friday I spotted a Gray Squirrel on the ground about 30 yards away I had my choice of the .50 cal cap and ball pistol on my hip or my Henry Mini Bolt on my shoulder. Needless to say the tree rat ran into a CCI Mini Mag HP from my Mini Bolt. He ran about a foot before expiring and most of him is in the freezer :) .

Those mini mags are destructive :) . Try some remington subsonics, they'll lay em down without blowing thier arses apart. Or better yet just use the 50 cal next time and eat stew.

I have a box of the Rem. Subsonic in my shooting bag as I type. Also a box of CCI CB Longs. Very quiet (who needs a suppressor), for garden pests.
