Single shot shotguns

Recently I have purchased a couple of nice old 12 ga Iver Johnson Champions.One with a plain barrel and one with a solid rib barrel.I was surprised at the condition of these guns after all of these years.

i have a nice one that hangs over the garage door, killed lots of crows with it.never seen on with a rib, post sum pics if yu can

 :D :D :D Nice buy, I have looked for a solid rib model several times..the guys whohave them do not want to sell.....my shooting pal loves single barrel shotguns...He has a couple Ivers and shoots grouse with them..but shooting grouse in Wy. in different from grouse hunting in most states, but he loves his..they handle well, and a easy to carry.

The solid rib Iver Johnson that I recently purchased has a 32" full choke barrel.It probably wouldn't of been sold either but a fellow is marketing a large collection of firearms that his deceased Father in Law had accumulated over fifty years.I bought it from the net and it just happens that this fellow lives in my state so I was able to make arrangements to pick it up at his house.
