What a great product.

I just Love this Plano shooting/cleaning box. I have used it now for well over a month and love it. It easily carries all your cleaning supplies and rags with no problem. The rails to hold the gun come on and off real easy and it makes cleaning your ML or rifle a breeze. It also has a place on the sides to set your range rod which i forgot to take a picture of.

You can also see were the rails come off and store inside the box. Mine stay's in the garage all the time. When you are not using it, it's like a shelf for some of your favorite products. My 19 year son loves to put his car cleaning supplies on it.

I bought this at the local sporting goods store. I believe it was less then $30.00 bucks and well worth it.

I have one almost like that one but mine has 2 lift out trays. I keep the 45 cal. stuff in one tray the 50 cal in the other and cleaning supplies in bottom. made by same company with the rest and all. very nice product. I got mine from amazon as I had a 25.00 gift cupon so with shipping I was out around 13.00. as you say great for cleaning rifle or muzzleloader but dont think I would try it as a shooting rest.I looked at a number of different shooter boxes and this is the best value that I found money wise.

The answer to your problem is simple, your son loves it , give it to him, get on amazon and buy the two tray and there you have it ,two happy people, father and son bonding over a plastic box.
