Repacking Nitrogen

I recently found a Bushnell 3x9x32 scope in the back of my dad's closet. I asked him if I could have it and he said sure. Then he told me that about 15 years ago he had taken it apart to clean it. He said that he was talking to someone at work about it and they told him that scopes are packed with Nitrogen gas so that they won't fog up and that he probably let it all of the gas escape.
My question: Is is possible to have the scope refilled with Nitrogen?

Yes it is possible, by Bushnell. But unless its a high end Bushnell or they will do it under warrenty, by the time you throw in postage it may not be worth it. Dont know of any accecptable way to do it at home.
