My brother-in-law has had a Gray Hawk for years and has taken quite a few deer with it.  It's a good shooter with Hornady 385 grain Great Plains bullets and Pyrodex RS.  I'm not sure what charge he's shooting, but I think it's 80 grains.  As always with a used muzzle loader, check the bore real well with a light to check for pitting and with a tight patch to check for bulges.

Hey Deacon, I saw one at a pawn shop that was in excellent condition and had a Nikon 1x in a scout mount. No QLA and they are asking $295 for it. I thought that was a bit much. Another one I saw without scope at a gun shop was priced at $250. As you know I live in cdntral Ohio just south of Columbus. If I good find a good buy on a Grey Hawk I might also buy one.
Good luck!
