One of those days
« on: June 08, 2009, 01:30:02 PM »
Today is definitely one of those days...

I just put a brand new rear tire on my Triumph 2 days ago and earlier today I picked up a nail in it >:(  It's not tubeless either so I have to take it all apart again and replace the tube and plug the hole in the (new) tire.
Then just a little while ago I went up to our camp to cut wood and my chainsaw fell off the truck and I ran it over. Broke the handle off it and bent the bar into the shape of the letter J. >:(
They say bad luck comes in 3's so what's next?? ::)

Well darn it anyway, Spanky. That's not good stuff to have happening to you. On the bright side though, we might be able to write a decent Country Wester song out of your experiences. ;D But on the other hand, no one has yet been cheated on, the dog hasn't been rolled out by a truck, and your mother-in-law hasn't been hit by train, so maybe the song isn't such a great idea. :D

Keep your chin up Spanky, it's got to get better for you. Take some advice from Tommy above, have a drinky winky and just forget about it - well, after you fix the saw anyway. ;)
