New one on me.

Saw road kill armadilo just south of our farm 12 mile north west of Marshall Ill.
It is about 7 miles north of Interstate 70.
It is not the first one seen in that area.

They ave been rumored to be in Illinois for a couple of years. I have yet to see one though. It would be pretty cool.

You can bet that I will be watching for them swiftman. I usually get by your place every two to three months and will take 133 to Paris then down route 1 to Marshall to the Daughters house.

I saw a road kill armadillo last year somewhere in S. Illinois and dang it, I can't remember where.  I was surprised to see it, but forgot about until reading this thread.  It's interesting what species we re-discover in this state.
