I don't get it... Edit - Found one!

How is Hornady able to get 100+ fps more than every other 265 grain .444 load I've been able to find without exceeding the max pressure?  4198 is the hottest powder I have found for the .444, anyone else know of a better powder for the .444?

Even though I'm not a member, I searched the loaddata.com website and found one.  However, since I am not a member I cannot see the actual powder charge, but there is a fast load available.

For factory ammo, they use proprietary powders that we can't buy.

  Did you read the firearm they used to test velocity? Most likely a pressure barrel about 24" long, every one else is using a Marlin lever gun with a 22" barrel!

Like Quick said, the powders developed for the big commercial loaders, are not available to us.  That bullet at 2300fps should take about anything a sane person might use it on.
