I read a bit about a foreign land. It had a leader who made one simple law, treat each other nicely and no name calling. The inhabitants of the land seemed to enjoy many hobbies and and many interests. They lived happy and free. I thought I would visit them and strike up a conversation to see if we were like minded and they would want a new neighbor. The local folks were great. We had a few campfire discussions and all was going well. Then one of the locals said he didn't like the leaders idea of putting up a road sign to warn people of a non exsitant danger. The leader publicy flogged the poor man and put up the sign. Another member of the tribe said " oh great King, how in your wisdom can you flog a man for telling the truth"? This man too was flogged and ridiculed by the leader. Another man came to the aide of the beaten men and asked the leader why he had flogged them. The leader then flogged him and said they violated the laws I have set forth as you did. When the man asked what law was violated since there was only one the leader flogged him again. Being the outsider I asked the leader if there was more than one law. He thought about flogging me but decided I was really to dumb to carry on a conversation with and left me alone. I packed up my bags and tried to encourage the locals to leave. I am going back to America the land of the truly free.
