Lyman top punch ??
« on: June 28, 2009, 01:57:03 PM »
Does anyone know were I can find any info as to which top punch number matches which nose profile , from looking at Midway and other catalogs , they just give a part number and thats not helping me to find the ones that I'm looking for .

Also I have some Lee molded bullets that I would like to run through my Lyman 450 but can't find the right profile punch to use .

Any ideas would be a great help , thanks in advance .  ;)

Look over at the cast boolits forum. There's a list there of what Lyman / Rcbs top punches will fit what Lee bullets.

As an aside, If you have a spare top punch, you can always fill it with hot glue and let it harden. It will push any bullet into the lubrisizer, and the glue can be taken out easily at a later time.
