I've found the TSX, TTSX and MRX shoot well in every rifle in which I've tried them. Once the tipped versions came out I decided not to hunt with the TSX type, so I have not taken any game with them.
Here are the results so far:
.257 Roberts, 100g TTSX, 3233fps, antelope, 300 yards
.308 Win, 165g TTSX, 2682fps, antelope, 125 yards
.300WM, 180g MRX, 2914fps, two mule deer, both 200 yards
My son-in-law also took an antelope with a .30-06, 168g TTSX at 2813fps, about 75 yards.
In every case the TTSX and MRX showed signs of very rapid expansion. When looking at the skinned carcasses, typical entrance holes were about the size of a quarter while exit ran silver dollar sized.
I am very pleased with the results.
