Survivor 308 wont eject
« on: June 27, 2009, 03:43:23 PM »
I have a NEF Survivor(308) and im havin a problem ejecting spent brass.
everything works fine its just fickle.
Federal works fine,
Winchester white box is ok,
Barnaul 308 won't eject most of the time ??? ???
Surplus 7.62x51 wont eject ever I think due to size difference.
Can anyone help explain this to me. Could I use/make a more powerful auto eject???
Please help. I like not to break the bank on ammo. Federal is gettin to be to much $$$$

If your barrel is an ejector model and not an extractor model then I reccomend polishing the chamber area, and afterward make sure there is no oil whatsoever in the chamber area when you go to fire. Check out the FAQs, it's all in there.

ive never been able to shoot the surplus and have it eject either, so I dont use it.

I just use factory stuff and everything works fine, polish it up and see what happens
