Bird's Head grip on a Remmie 1858?

My next project gun is going to be a "Sheriff's Model Remmie" with a 3.5" barrel. Was wondering if anyone had ever seen an 1858 with a Birds Head grip? PIX or links would be appreciated.

I've seen them, but they are hand made modifications requiring cutting, welding and finishing.  Look in SCORRS, there's a photograph section with lots of photos submitted.  There should be a bird's head in there somewhere.

Flint - thanks for posting this link - I never knew about this site!  I checked it out and now have it "bookmarked".  I love Remingtons - I have a '58 Navy and really enjoyed the photos on this site to see what others have.  There's a multitude of neat sites out there - it's just a case of finding them.  Thanks very much for sharing this one!

I've "birdsheaded" a couple of them, it's a very easy hacksaw and file job. I think it greatly improves the grip.
