Why would I want to follow you around? All I did was question you on your troubleshooting technique. I had never heard of it, so I looked through my service manual and found that harley hadn't discovered that technique either. (maybe they should hire you as a master mechanic!?)

I just know from my experiences working on engines that 30,000 volts will go through any doo-rag and black jacket made!

(I am a licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic cheese, you can keep argueing if you want)

I am sure the plug wire is nonconductive and I am sure you are a Troll. You like to poison treads like this one and others. I supose more attacks are in order, troll?

On another thread you tooK issue with the very existence of this tread, then you come here, with your troll like ways and poison it. You have reality issues.

"When gas prices shot up a few years ago there was a huge increase in motorcycle sales, along with a increase in beef prices. Supply and demand, more harleys sold, more jackets and chaps sold. Like I said in my first post, just because you have a pole, you aren't a fisherman, just because you have a rifle, you aren't a hunter, just because you have a harley, or have to ask what tools to carry in your tool roll, you aren't a biker."

i did have a tech i trust and the only one who has ever touched my bike since i do all my own stuff mostly, tell me to not ever start or crank your bike with out both plug wires being grounded either to the plugs or the motor , frame etc.could cause probs with the ignition. yeah ive done it, not since he told me but yeah ive done it.my fl is a 97, dont know bout the newer models and im sure it dont apply to points ignitions on the older ones either.also years ago had a chain saw guy tell me the same thing bout saws.this newer electronic stuff is soo fragile .im afraid to take the chance.
