Knight DISC rifle trigger problems
« on: July 01, 2009, 02:06:52 PM »
Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum in GBO, but not new to Knight rifles.  My current rifle, original DISC,had the DISC extreme bolt conversion installed 3 years ago.  That year was the last time I hunted with it due to a trigger problem.  I installed the bolt conversion kit myself and didn't seem to have any problems with it until....I noticed, while hunting, that the safety lever was stuck.  I was able to loosen it and use the rear bolt section as my primary safety device.  I think that while I was zeroing the rifle, I never used the safety and that's why the problem was realized until I was hunting.  I fixed the problem when I returned home by readjusting the trigger to a much higher poundage.  With testing I found that I couldn't lower it any less than 6-7 lbs before the problem occurred again.  Now the trigger is too heavy but everything else works fine.  Anyone ever has this problem before? Is there a way to remedy it?

Thanks, Dinny

Dinny,

Get in contact with Knight. They are on a two week inventory right now, but also have a number to contact them for warranty work. I am sure they will take care of your trigger. If you can, ask for Gordy.
