Mossberg 30-30
« on: July 11, 2009, 03:47:54 PM »
Sold my Mossberg, accurate, but shot 2 foot high with the open sights. Didn't like the safteys on it. Found a used Marlin336 with straight grip...............like it much, much better. Is there a different Model # for the straight grip model besides 336?

I looked at one of the Mossberg's Thursday. Man is that thing heavy or what? The sights I can fix, the weight after carrying a Model 94 for 50 years is too much.

336 T.  The T is the "Texan" designation.
