Karl Malden passed away
« on: July 01, 2009, 10:37:16 AM »
I think he was a great actor.  I especially liked him in Nevada Smith, Patton, One-eyed Jacks, and The Cincinnati Kid.  He had a lot of range.  When he was a good guy, I really liked his character and when he played a villain - he was a rotten cuss.He got to be 97 and celebrated 70 years of marriage.
His passing won't get the attention as some have, but he was good at his craft and I will always enjoy his films.

I saw him in Captains Courageous and Patton. A very good actor indeed.

I doubt that Dirty Harry and Lt. Stone together could entirely clean that place up. ;)

Yes RIP, I don't dislike him, but the anti-gun comments he & Michael Douglas made in the TV show ticked me off.

I remember seeing him in a movie about a family trying to survive after an atomic war. I think it was called "Panic in the Year Zero"
