pse brute LT.

i have been away from bow hunting for a while and thinking about getting back into it. while in cabelas i picked up this bow and liked the feel of it. i want to hear anything you have to say about it good or bad. thank you.

I don't have any experience with the Brute, however I have been partial to PSE.  They seem easy to tune and shoot. They usually don't break the bank.

Look at the Matthews- Mission bows before you buy.
I know nothing about the PSE. have always heard go things though.
I bought a mission UX2 about 2 mos. and it is all they said it would be.
the price is good also. I have mine cranked up to 64lbs now and it shoots good. ;D

I would definitely try a variety of bows, but PSE has been around a long time and they are good about backing their products. I'd say the bow passed the first part of the test in that it felt good to you. To me a lot of bows don't necessarily feel good the first time I handle them and I cross them off the list. Ask to shoot it and others in the same price range to compare.

Highway I have always shot PSE,nothing against other bows, it is what I started with and have always upgraded with them.
About a year ago I was ready to upgrade again to a parallel limb bow,and I went to the PSE catalog,looking at the prices :o boy has bows gone up since my last one.
I wanted a short light bow that wouldnt break the bank.
Chose the Brute,@ 400.00 I could handle that and couldnt be happier,handles nice,shoots straight,and the Hush kit sure keeps it quiet.
Got it set up with a quisker biscuit and a pendulem sight and I am ready for some tree stand hunting.
Like others said try it first and I think you will be pleased.
