I am looking at hunting int the area north west of Drake Co.  Has anyone hunted the area?  What is the hunting pressure in the area?  It looking to bow hunt the area.  What are your recommendations?  Thanks

first get a USFS map and see where the private land is. then get in shape, that area can be rougher than all get out. When I lived in greeley years ago I worked that area from east to west toward the park. I saw plenty of animals but if i had shot I would have needed a mule to pack them out. a good topo will make it a bit easier deciding what section of that unit to hunt. if you were to get lucky and ever draw a sheep tag for that unit, west of drake would be the cat's meow. good luck!
