My son may go to college in Bozeman. How is the lifestyle in Bozeman? Is it a pretty good place to live?

I have friends in Misoula and Kalispell, they are in the mountains and it's beauiful country. I think Boozeman is further east in the prarie country. Good birdhunting with some deer but much coolder in the winter and hotter in the summer. Regards,

I was born in Kalispell, Montana and if Bozeman has winters anything like Kalispell, I'd say it is also a good place to be from--about 700 miles from.

He likes to hunt and he wants to live in a place cooler year round than Minnesota. Bozeman has the university there and I suggested he consider going to school in a region that he may want to live in. This looks like a decent option. He's going to research it a bit.

We'll see what he comes up with.

It is lonely country and that is good. Seems if you have a taste for cold and mountains it is a good choice.
