Something silver and bright in the sky "daytime"
« on: December 27, 2008, 09:36:48 AM »
It was a bluebird day with lots of sunshine lastmonth.  I was laying in bed resting looking up at the sky.  Then i watched for awhile something shiney in the sky.  I figured it was an airplane at first.  But it was a long cigar shaped object.  As it got closer it was blocked by the tree branches and i lost sight of it.  As i looked and looked i figured it just disappeared.  I never seen it again.  I would estimate it at 100yds long at least.

Probably just that new Boeing 787.

I'd be more concerned about what the heck happened to my roof and ceiling if I could observe one while I was layin' in bed :o

When we were kids many, many years ago, we saw the very same thing. It was stationary in the sky for approx. ten minutes, then started to smoke on one end. The smoke completely covered it and it was gone. Scared the heck out of us all. this was in the 1960s. ???

Well, when you work at 7-11 and make BS stories about all the ghosts that live with you on the internet all the time, a roof can be hard to come by.  ;D
