.308 and .270 varmint/predator loads?

I've reloaded my fair share of pistol rounds but rifle reloading is new to me.

I can't afford a .223 right now but would like to work up some .308 loads for prarie dog and coyote/bobcat (and .270 for the son). 

I know these are not the best calibers for the intended target but it's what I have right now. 

The TNT bullet looks promising, hopefully sparing the hide of the bobcat we hope to get.   

Anyone have a load worked up that your willing to share?  A common powder would be a bonus.

I did a lot of "varmint load" development for a .270 Ruger #1 I used to have.  Other than a lot of recoil and blast the rifle was very accurate with the right bullet/powder combo.  I had best luck with the 90-grain Sierra over H414.  Another very accurate load was the 110 Sierra lloaded to max over RL-22.  The latter gave similar drop and drift to a .22-250 at 400 yards.

No varmint experience with the .308.

I loaded up some 130 grain Speer HPs over 43 grains of H322 that my heavy barrel Savage in .308 Winchester seemed to like.  Never killed anything but paper with them, though.
