h & r 923

My boss has an old h&r 923 pistol and was trying to find out how old it is.  He got it from his grandfather years ago.  Any info on this gun would be appreciated.  thanks

Model 923?  I never heard of a 923 and could find nothing on it my books, check it again to see if this is correct. ??? ??? ???

I stand corrected.  I still can't find any information in any of the reference books I have.  I have owned several H&R .22s over the years, all were fairly good little guns.  I still have a 929 that soots as good as any I own.

The 923 was a nickeled plated version of the 922 and made from1950 until 1982 with plastic grips. Exc condition worth about $100.  So says the Standard catalog of Firearms.
