I have been thinking real seriously about getting one of these for my 357 Max. I use it for night shooting as well as day light shooting. I do not think I would be shooting any thing beyond 100 yards. I shoot 38 Special wad cutters for back yard pests all the way up to full pressure 357 Max loads for deer. I have never handled this type of sight before. Before I plunk down some cash for one, I would like to hear from some of you folks and your experiences with them. I have a 6X Weaver Classic on it now, which works fine, but in low light conditions and at night, leaves some thing to be desired. Would I be better off with a red dot or an illuminated low powered scope - say a 2X - 7X?
