Nope Saeco Manufacturing in Maine----this plant is owned by Colt and also produces the USA Weatherby rifles.

My Colt rifle in 7mm Mag seems to be a good shooter----I really need to spend some more time with this rifle and try some different loads.

I got it cheap $399 and they come with scope rings---I put a Leupold VX-1 3x9x40---so the whole rig was only $600.

No way its an ultra light rifle----but it is lightweight for a magnum.

Have a flyer with one listed for a little less with a 3x9 scope  also in 7 mm mag. Since they have been discontinued guess I better think fast.  Thanks, I appreciate the information.

The dealer where I bought mine originally had them priced at $750 when they first came out---I waited them out as they kept on dropping the price---I figured $399 was fair.

They also had a .30-06 that I procrastinated on getting---it finally sold for $369.

CDNN also has these for $399---but they throw in a cheap scope too

bought one in 30/06 a few years ago, it is unbeleivable in it's accuracy. put several loads thru it that i had loaded up for a pair of odd sixes i had owned previously they shot 5/8, 3/4, and 9/16 for 150, 180, and 125 gr. bullets. this out of the box accuracy. they are not ultra lite, but are light as is practical    ed
