Below is a copy of the E-mail I received from Defenders of Wild Life. I am on their mailing list just to keep tabs of what they are doing. And they are asking for donations of any amount from $5.00, up. That part did not come through.
Roggie, due to a mix-up in our system, you may have mistakenly received a message Friday that contained two important typographical errors concerning the names of our Senate champions in the fight to end the brutal aerial killing of wolves. Because their leadership is so important, I want to make sure that you know that the PAW Act was introduced by California Senator Dianne Feinstein, joined by Maryland Senator Ben Cardin and Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion these errors may have caused. As someone who works every day to help protect wolves and other wildlife, I hope you'll still consider making a donation to support our ongoing efforts to pass the PAW Act and save the lives of wolves from this awful practice. We're making progress in the fight for wolves, but we can't win without your continued support!

We’re launching a no-holds-barred national campaign to build support for the PAW Act and end awful aerial gunning programs that have claimed the lives of wolves like the one above.
Support Our Fight (red)
Please consider making a donation to build momentum in August for our fight to save wolves.
Dear Roggie,
In the two days since I last wrote you…
* The Protect America’s Wildlife (PAW) Act was introduced in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. Fifteen more representatives signed on as cosponsors, bringing the cosponsor count to an impressive 106 representatives in the House. And Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (RI) joined Senators Dianne Feinstein (CA) and Ben Cardin (MD) as a Senate cosponsor of the PAW Act.
* Donations from caring people like you helped us run our hard hitting new ad in Roll Call, one of Capitol Hill’s most influential publications. With your help, we’ve sent a powerful message to Congress about the need for action to save wolves.
Even with this phenomenal momentum, we’re in for a tough fight in the days and weeks ahead. Fortunately, we have some great allies in our efforts to save wolves and other wildlife from aerial gunning -- allies like you.
Please consider making a donation to help support the Campaign to Stop the Alaska Wolf Massacre’s efforts to captialize on this amazing momentum and build even more vital support for the PAW Act.
Today, representatives are headed to their home districts for the August congressional recess, and senators will return home at the end of next week. But even while Congress is out of session, Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund will continue our fight to end Alaska’s awful aerial wolf-killing programs and prevent this terrible practice from spreading to other states.
All this month, we’ll be mobilizing wildlife supporters across the country, reaching out to conservationists and other allies in Alaska, spotlighting the awful truth about aerial gunning through our powerful new video and contacting more Congressional offices to build support for the PAW Act. Will you help?
Please donate now to support our efforts throughout August to build even more support for the PAW Act.
With your help, we’re building powerful momentum for an end to Alaska’s brutal and misguided aerial wolf-killing programs. Together, we can win this fight.
Sincerely,
