The 20 or 21 are great for large hands, plus you can get a .40 conversion barrel for the 20. That makes for a very soft shooting .40.

I also have very large hands yet my  G20 still feels blocky and big..  Not to confuse you, but if you can,  feel the G20SF before you buy. It's a 10mm that fits my hands perfectly and can you can still use a drop in .40 barrel.

My son and I are both pretty big guys with meat hooks to match. he shoots a 22 and i shoot a 23. Just fondle them at a shop or friends. You should find one that "fits". Have fun!

The NEW 4th generation Glocks have different size back straps that you can snap on. You can always get one of those slip on rubber grips that go over the grip and make them thicker. As to the model Glock to get it would depend on what you intend to be doing with it. One thing people don't take into consideration is what size and caliber they WILL CARRY  and can shoot well and fast with. Many people say get the latest and greatest supper dupper what ever because it shoots a big old bullet at a high velocity etc. Then they find that it is too big to carry and has too much recoil for them to handle well and shoot well in a strenuous situation. You may be the best shoot on the range but that target is not shooting back at you or trying to kill you. When you are hyped up with the fear that you must have of imminent serious body harm or death to legally defend your life your shooting can and will be a whole lot worse than standing in front of that paper target shooting X's. In all reality you need what will fill the bill for your purpose. I always say a pair of quick 9mm's to center mass trumps a marginal hit or miss with a 45. You can always build up your grip to fit your hand but get what you can shoot accurately and get back on target quick for follow up shots and what you can afford ammo for so you will practice often with it. When your life depends on it keep shooting quickly and accurately until the threat is neutralized.

XL gloves are a good fit for me and a G20/21 is a good fit in my hands . Any larger and it would be to large though. A G-22 is also good and a 23 size is ok but the 27 is just to small.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
