« on: July 28, 2009, 02:52:59 PM »
Well my tamer came in yesterday Put a choate stock  and survivor fore arm on it . Found a box of brenneke slugs Stepped out on the deck looked around for target  Old fence post ~45 yards  out in the yard aimed about 4" from the top  First shot sent wood every where  second  took the top off  ;D ;D ;D That will do!!!

I just thought I would chime in to say that I have had some of my best accuracy out of smoothbore shotguns shooting slugs with modified choked barrels. Congratulations on a nice shooting gun....<><....:)

20 I made I decision a while back to not buy anymore using guns above 20 ga. that is not saying I won't buy something that I can trade or make a profit on  and I still have 4 12's and a ten but I am moving towards lighten gauges

Try a 28 , it carries better than a 20 and kills like a 12 on small game . I had a damaged shoulder and got one to dove hunt ( which i was not suppose to do ) didn't expect much from the little pop gun . The doves were thick as the farmer sets us up really good . Anyway less than an hour and i had a limit .
