The availibity of ammo depends on where and when you go. I recently made a trip, stopping at every gun/sporting goods store I could and found basicly the same thing in all of them. No .380, no .357 Sig, no small rifle or pistol primers and shortages of most powders. It seemed I got the same answer at most places, "we had plenty last week but it sold out the first (sencond) day, this was the answer in both large and small stores.
I talked to a lady locksmith today, she owns a retail store that deals in new and used safes. She told me I would be susprised at the number of people now buying safes to store ammo. People are worried and uncertain as to what the future holds and "want to be stocked up in case." I think this is the general opinion of more people today than ever in the past, I went to the eye doctor a few weeks ago, he told me had never owned a gun in his life but now has an AR and two hand guns.
