 Well i received the J-B paste on tuesday, cleaned the gun twice then polished the bore and then cleaned the gun again. Bore sighted the banner 3x9x40. Set up an 8" shoot n c at 50 yds. anyway the 5th shot was int the 10 ring, waiting about a minute between shots i put 2 more in the 10 ring and this 3 shot group measured 5/8" at 50yards with wolf 150gr.fmj. I think it's a keeper,recoil was about like a 20ga with a 2 3/4" slug so not bad at all. will give report on 100 yard range with rem. core lock 150gr sp in the near future.

Sort of belies the generally held belief that Wolf ammo is crap, doesn't it? I have seen a camo version of this at my local Dick's and they want $299 for it. I can get two discounts, $20 and 10%, wish I had the cash right now as I would get this, take 1" off the stock, reduces LOP to 13.25", put the factory recoil pad back on, and add Limbsaver slip-on, increases LOP back to standard 14.25", that should cut recoil by 50%. I started centerfire with a 20g tracker and that was way too much recoil for me, even though I had a Limbsaver slip-on attached too.

 Called H&R today to find out if the camo stocks were available as an aftermarket product, wanted to put a set on my 7mm-08 but they said the camo stocks were a dicks sg exclusive.

 Got it out to 100 yards yesterday with green box 150gr and with the coffee jitters it was shooting 1.5 inches. I am more than pleased with this gun, and i expect that with the right hand load and a few hundred more rounds down the barrel it should shoot MOA

 Yeah my next handi is going to be a 30-30 but after that if these are still around i might just have to get one in 22-250!
