Vortex Optics -- Review
« on: July 25, 2009, 10:15:28 AM »
A quick review of the Vortex Crossfire 6x24x50AO that I picked up the other day , a couple things that first caught me eye were the 30mm one peice tube and the Lighted Mil Dot retical .

One thing that I noticed right off was just how clear the glass was , for a price of under $250 it will stack up with many costing much , much more in that department .

Repeatablity was very consistent from click to click all around the grid and with the large target turrets , ajustments very easy to do , so no complaints there .

While the focus ajustments were a little rougher than I would have liked , they do work well and may smooth as i use them .

On a side note , this scope was mounted on an H&R Handi rifle that in many cases will need High rings to clear the bell , this one only needed med. rings to miss the hammer .

Over all , on a scale of 1 to 5 , with 5 being the best I have to give this scope a solid 4 .
