HX serial no.
« on: July 22, 2009, 10:22:21 AM »
Saw a youth .45 at Gander Mountain yesterday. Serial no. started with HX (it was new in the store). From the FAQ's, am I correct that it could not be fitted with other barrels?
Thanks.

When you say youth does that mean it had short stocks on it and was it blued or case colored. It's just that all I have ever seen have been the BC .45Colt carbine. Kurt

Phatinjun,
It did have a short stock, the receiver was case hardened, as I remember. I think it was the BC .45Colt carbine. Just seemed stock was way short.
