I am looking at shooting the new Winchester Super-X Power Max Ammunition 308 Winchester 150 Grain.

I am looking at using this round for deer and hogs.  I have a Savage 10fp.

What is your thinking on this round?

Thanks
Dan

I'm moving this one to the Medium bore rifle forum where I think it will get more visibility than in the Product Discussion Forum. It fits either OK but more folks will see it after the move.

A .308 with 150 grain is a standard deer round if there is one I'd guess. For hogs I prefer a heavier bullet of better construction but properly placed it sure enough will get the job done on them as well. I've used less successfully on hogs.
