Turbo Hawk and the Kudu
« on: August 29, 2009, 10:04:55 PM »
So about 3 weeks ago I traded my Misiion X3 for a Turbo Hawk. I still use
my Eastons N-fuse 300 spine with 125gr Slick Trick with an arrow weight of 495gr.
During the week I took my new bow for a walk in the bush.

First that came in was a couple of Njala ewes. The kept me company for about half
an hour, feeding around the hide. Then came the kudus. First just a couple of cows
and a couple of young ones. Then two bulls came in, big enough to make the blood
rush and to generate the shakes. I had to wait nearly half an hour for this bull to give me
a shot. He was q-away. I shot him just behind the right shoulder, both lungs and out
on the left shoulder.
It made about 70-80 yards before going down - I think this TH and me are still going
to go a long way. Once again the Slick Trick came to the party.
