I saw one once, it's frame had some of the prettiest welds I've ever seen on a motorcycle.

I'm with you Swampman, wish my pocketbook could afford this. Story I remember reading in Easyriders about Steve McQueen. Seems he liked going to the swap meets they had, and the bikers always gave him the respect, didn't bother him, let him do what everybody else was doing, looking, shopping,BSing. The only complaint some of them had was, with his money, he bought entire displays, and some of the stuff that was probably going to end up in his store room, the other bikers didn't have a chance to get it. Not sure if that's true or not, just an old article out of a magazine I remember reading. gypsyman

I have sat on some of the Mcqueen collection . After he died a dealer in Ohio . Domni racer bought some of it . He sold out the buisness and I don't know what happened to the bikes he had . That was 1 cool place to visit. One could sit on Scott flying squirrels, Broughton's, Vincents, as well as the English common bikes. We made a trip up there for the big bike show every year. All the aftermarket dealers were present. Some of the big back then builders were there as well  Arlan Ness always had a great display.

Steve would always hang out at the Visalia, California antique meets.Met and talked to him many times. He was as normal as his celeberty would allow. Most biker folk would leave him be,and he seemed to appreciate it.
