Powder Suggestions

Getting ready to load for 7-30 Waters cal for 15" barrel. Any suggestions on which powder to start with would be helpful.

I've had two of these.  I recall using WW760.  I'll double check.

There are several powders that will work. W748, RL-15, AA2460 come to mind right away. Varget, VV 135, VV 140 and H 4895 might work too, depending on your particular gun and bullet weight selection. Good Luck and Good Shooting.

748 335 and benchmark have allways worked best for me.

Hey Lloyd - Those are the same powders I use in my 223's. :D Not really, but they are good 223 powders as well as 7-30 Waters - I shoot Ramshot TAC, IMR 4895 and VV N133 in my 223's. Come to think of it most powders that work well in the 223 should work in the Waters as well.
