I had set out to buy an SR9, but the cheapest I could find one here was $469. I ended up with a P95 for $330 instead. I am still hoping one day, I can get my hands on a SR9. I really liked the feel of it in my hands compared to other guns I have tried out.
Let us know how that P95 treats you
As stated, I like mine so far (I bought the blued version) though I haven't gotten used to that looooong DA first-shot trigger pull yet
My pistol exhibits quite a bit of muzzle flip, and you can actually
feel the slide working during recoil. The sights are very good, and the pistol comes back on target quickly, even during fairly rapid firing sessions
My particular gun seems to shoot rather low at twenty-ish yards, though I have only run 115 and 124 gr FMJs through it so far. I plan to try some heavier ordnance, and if that doesn't work, I'll give Ruger a call and see if they can't fix me up with some new sights
Kind Regards,
.450 Marlin
P.S. The best local price I've found on an SR9 (at least in the past year) is $420...though I have found them priced as high as $500 in some stores
