cva wolf hammer

just bought a new wolf dont seem like the hammer goes all the way forward to hit the firing pin but when i put my finger in front of it i can feel it hitting just doesnt seem right

Shoot a few caps. See if it works. There is the transfer bar between the hammer and the pin. That may make it look as if it is not hitting or dropping all the way down.
