Kudo's to GBO Mods

Yesterday we had a porn spammer posting his smut on all the forums.  I saw that madmark was online and sent him a pm about it.  I also sent pm's to GB and Tim.
Thanks to madmark on his quick action on deleting this garbage.  I also thank GB, Tim and madmark for their quick replys to me.  Shame this has to go on but again kudo's to the mods for their fast actions.

There is really no good way to prevent folks from doing such things all we can do is to react swiftly when they do. We have lots of mods who can delete such trash and there are several of us that can stop them from continuting. Usually one of us at least are available to see it in time.

I've many times seen such posts within a few seconds or minutes of it being posted and removed it so I might have been the only one to see it. Short of me reviewing ALL new member accounts before allowing them to post such things are gonna happen and really even that wouldn't be 100% certainty of stopping it as many look legitimate but prove not to be and some look like they aren't but prove to be. Not allowing folks to activate and use their accounts immediately turns off many and you'd lose a lot of otherwise good members that way.

We just have to be vigilent and act as fast as we can when folks like that hit us.
