NEF Stock puchase question

Do you get a forarm when you order a buttstock from NEF or do you buy that seperate? I see no forarms on their page so that is why I'm asking.  Zeak

Lets broaded that question Tim.   

I bought a 38/55 TC to get the action for my 45-120; color case and all that.  The stock would go on my old 45-70 as the plan is to make the 45-70 a carbine style handy Handi, with 2 extra barrels; a .410 - got it- and some other rifle barrel.   

Eventually, of course, this 3 barrel group would end up as a show quality cased set.   

The TC stock looks great on the rifle, but the forearm is just to long for the 22 inch barrel.     I've got a 25/06 barrel enroute and the TC forearm may look okay on it.   

So, do you think I can order 2 or 3 short forearms that match each other and the TC butt stock?

You can place the order, but whether they'll match, that's kinda up in the air, you can see the color difference on my BC carbine, I ordered the forend when I ordered the acc barrel. If you ordered a forend and butt at the same time, they could make sure they match, Gardner did that for folks, hopefully Ilion will too.

So it seems I want the BC carbine fore arm huh?  I 'spose if they were grossly mismatched I could just refinish all of them at the same time...     Maybe I can give them a call, send them a photo... that probably won't work like it did with Gardner though...
