« on: July 16, 2009, 08:03:27 PM »
i have a lab that has alot of dreams, you can watch her sleeping and imagine what she is dreaming about. she moves her feet, growls and barks, twitches her nose and licks her lips. my question is, are these some sort of seizure or is she perfectly normal? thanks for all info

yup, depending on the breed and temperament it can be downright funny. I got one that hunts a good part of the night in her sleep.

I have had to wake my old lab a couple of times as she was having a night mare.  She had her Mohawk up and teeth bared and when I touched her she jumped up and came after me till she realized she was awake.   About a week before she was jumped by a group of Coyotes and I can only guess that was what she was fighting in her dream.
It is pretty normal, Dad's lab puppy dreams too.
