shooting sidekick off a bypod

I found out yesterday that its not a good idea to shoot a sidekick of a bypod. I was shooting 460 NE in front of 80 gr of 777. second shot took the whole bottom of my wood forend off. The forarm is junk now and Im not sure if another one is available. I guess you live you learn.

that is not good.  I think I have an extra wood forearm around here. Let me look.  If so I will get ot off to you.

I think the one I have is for a huntsman. But if I am wrong all I will need is your address to send it off. I will commence looking shortly.
