I just bought a new Handi Rifle, my first, in .223 with a a thumbhole stock and a 24 inch Bull Barrel. I wanted a small caliber center-fire and it just felt good in my hands.
I mounted a 3X9, cleaned the bore, and went to the range. It took about 6 rounds to get on the paper. Then I was able to keep the next 14 within about eight inches at fifty yards!
I hope this is just because it is new and needs broken in.
What kind of groups should I expect?
Any advice is appreciated.
