I like the octagon barrel. Finally I have a rifle to consume the 1000s of cast bullet I have made.

 You will really get to like that puppy, I did. Mine is not a cowboy, but I really like the octagon barrel.

check out a  ghost ring or peep rear sight it made a world of difference for me but i have old tired eyes.

Hey, that is an awesome rifle Cheese. Nice choice. I'd that that Marlin any day over the Ruger you were looking at.

Yes, I am sure it is a better choice then the Ruger. I am considering the ghost ring sight. I am very much looking forward to shooting it.

I always thought that was the neatest lever gun out there Cheese!  Let me know how it shoots them cast bullets!
