Individualized Charles Dalys
« on: August 07, 2009, 06:09:11 PM »
Had an idea about making my Charles Daly single actions a bit more unique. I cut the ends of a couple of nickle 357 cases ans enlarged the primer hole to accept a cutoff nail(rounded head, they came with curtain brackets. Then I used a 3/8" forstner bit to make a hole in the grip, one side only. I glue in the case head with the short nail replacing the primer. Now I have a right hand and a left hand gun. The head stamp is TEXAS .357 Magnum. Just right for SASS shooting.
