Cannon Mike lists the French and Indian War cannon as having a 1 5/16" bore.

I don't think any one will sell you more than 100 lbs without a license.

I think most of the sellers limit purchases to 50 lbs without a license.  I understand it to be federal law.

It is 50# in one shipment.  Getting ready for Gettysburg last year we had 75 pounds ordered from Coonie's. They shipped it as on @ 50# and 1 @ 25 #.  Or you could drive down to Powders Inc. and pick it up.

I've got one of Cannon Mikes Spanish Swivel guns, 1 1/4" bore. It's a keeper, great lines and 2 thumbs up!
It came in the white and I had the swivel parkerized and the barrel blued.

Well, I for one think you made a mistake buying the Bear Track trading.

The cast iron barrels do not appear to have liners and appear to be very poor quality.

Did you ask if the barrel have a liner and is it seamless or seamed?

... he poured the cast around a steel liner ...

That is not the preferred method.  The liner can move and the bore end up pointing a funny direction and the breech be off center with a thin place.

I think you need to find out a lot more about cannons before you buy.  Do you research before buying.  Buying cannons is not something that you should not take lightly.  A decision based on price alone is a wrong decision.

You need to ask how the breech plug is installed.  Ask him if the breech plug and liner complies with N-SSA standards.  I believe the N-SSA regulation require pictures of the breechplug.  Ask if the liner is seamless tube.

What is the diameter of the bore and the diameter of the barrel around the chamber?

Remember when you fire a cannon you are setting off a controlled explosion, you want to do that safely.
