I'm back

Gosh, I'm getting too old for this young mans sport.  I hurt all over, the bottoms of my feet are so sore I can hardly walk.  The rest of my body is just as bad off.  But I'm happy.

Just wanted you guys to know I have gotten back.  4 hunters, 4 Caribou.  Unfortunately did not get the Handi out of the case on this one.  KP went along and took his son, my partner Norm and I made up the four.  Have posted my part on the Alaska forum, but KP will have to load the pictures, and tell his story.  Give him some time to sleep and get over the hard job of skinning and loading.  Let's just say it is good.  Rog the old graybearded sourdough.  Ouch!  It hurts to type.

Congrats on the hunt. What about your cabin and how are the fires doing??? Lots of prayers gone out for all of you. POWDERMAN.  ??? ???

It's been raining since Sunday.  I think all the fires are out, have not heard a report since I got back.  As for the cabin, gone.  It sat in the middle of a thick spruce forest, no way to stop the fire, and save the cabin.  Oh well, can be rebuilt.

Wrong Cabin Dale, I had two.  Bears never messed with this one.  The one with the bear problem is still there.
