Here is  my project so far... I need to address the Elevator screw and the trunion caps, plus the other iron bits that go on the trail... but it is getting close... REAL close.....

I sure hope you have small chamber in that gun?

Yes, its safe. take a look at the head on shot (click on it to enlarge), you can see the chamber at the end of the tube... Tube is 4 inch O.D. bore is 2.5 in. Chamber is 1.33 X 1.5 ... Pinned and welded breach plug is 4 inch... dont let the muzzle fool you, the tube is only 3/8 thick at the muzzle, but is 3/4 thick before the taper starts (an inch forward of the chamber)
Tomorrow I am going to have the barrel done in Black.....
