Yeah I here ya on those western states, i was born and raised in South Carolinia. When I was 12 I worked for a commericial catfisherman. Setting big hoop nets catching blues, channels, and flatheads. My boss taught me how to set snares, and foot holds, for beaver, and muskrat, even caught a couple 75# plus alligator snapping turtles and I always was stting live traps, for coons, opposums. Fast forward  Move to CO in 2001, and I am now 24. I have always been into the outdoors stuff, espiciallly trapping, just don't know enough about the techniques to use, and I gotta find some people who will let me trap there land. Any sites you could point me to?

I'm from Colorado.  Mainly trap coyotes with a few raccoon thrown in.  I live in the NE corner of the state.  Have trapped about 12 years.  Our association has a website.  Coloradotrappers.com.  I'll send you a pm with my contact info.
